Moon paintings are a form of meditation, along with the other landscape type paintings. These are meant to clear my mind. This is the second moon painting. The first moon was painted with photo reference, however, every moon painting since, has been from memory or based off of it’s predecessors, creating a unique moon that appears to be “the moon” as a different stage of it’s life. I call them Ancient Moons.
