Acrylic is really the final stages of “Fine Art” in my humble opinion. Many talk about Oil Paints as being a benchmark of the fine art world, but polymers actually last much longer than oxydized oil and it is likely that hundreds of years in the future the acrylics will long outlast the oils. It is important to also buy the real stuff with artist grade pigments and apply glazes for protection and longer life.
These are the surrealist works of David Brothers, living on the road and attempting to communicate spirit openly in hopes of finding the Magical Cat Woman. The Surrealist Movement was a movement in the early 1900s through the 60s, meant to explore and express the unconscious mind.
